Injuries
Unfortunately, injuries are a part of any athletes training. The only thing you can do is deal with them as they come up and do your best to minimize the risk of becoming injured. Probably the biggest thing I'm dealing with currently is an ongoing  problem of plantar fasciitis in my left foot.

No other injuries to report.

Training
My training is going really well, or of course, at least I think it is. As a self-coached athlete, sometimes it's hard to tell. But I can definitely tell I am well conditioned and more importantly physically I am feeling very good. Mentally, I'm starting to get a bit nervous. When I hit the 2 month mark the nerves started to creep in. As usual I am most concerned about the bike, but I plan to hit it hard and work a lot of hills over the next 4 to 5 weeks and hopefully feel better about the situation. Bottom line, I think I'm ready, just have NO idea how I will finish and what my time may be. But as long as I cross that finish line, I will be happy.
